I am happy to hear of your continued and deepening involvement in the life of the Church. Keep it up!Christopher M. Sure, I have sat in on some masses where the Priest's monotone homily could put an insomniac to sleep, but Mass is just one part of our Catholic life! We are there to honor our Lord and take part in the Holy Eucharist. Then we are empowered to go forth and SHARE the word with others and LIVE the word. Hmmm... that is the problem. Most people are already thinking about breakfast and the To Do or Honey-Do list before they even step out of the beautiful church doors. We need the Holy Spirit alive in us so that we can do what the Lord created us to do! There are many ways to rekindle that spirit and fire in our belly (Prayer Groups, Women's or Men's Groups, Youth Groups, etc). I am involved in an absolutely AWESOME Women's Prayer Group at St. Francis of Assisi in Allentown. We comfort and inspire each other to Pray MORE, Praise more, Learn more and BE more -- be what God created us to be! (Shameless plug -- Gathered in Grace ... you can find us on Facebook. Or Catholic Women Gathering)

Thank you for the great article, Father Z!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12485897927572664583noreply@blogger.com
